about me

I'm a lifelong Milton resident and proud, along with my wife Brenna, daughter Cleo, and dog Indie, to call Milton home.

Growing up here, I attended local schools, worked for local small businesses and community organizations, and fell in love with our town. I went to Martin Street Public School and W.I. Dick before graduating from Milton District High. As a young man, I cut my teeth working at Chudleigh's, Conservation Halton, Chorizo, and Presto Pools. When I could find time, I fished the Mill Pond, skied Glen Eden, and hiked and biked the Escarpment.

After graduating, I studied and earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Waterloo.

Personally and professionally, I've tried to devote myself to public service, including by supporting the work of the ministries of Labour, Indigenous Affairs, and Defence, protecting local green spaces on the Board of the Conservation Halton Foundation for the better part of a decade, helping thousands of local families access essential services- including through the pandemic- working in Adam van Koeverden's local office, and now, by supporting the work of Mark Carney's government as manager of a small team for Member of Parliament Charles Sousa.

I've always done what I could for Milton, but now I'd like to do more. Local families are struggling under the weight of an increased cost of living. We've watched our community grow quickly for nearly two decades while the infrastructure, services, and supports we used to be able to rely on have atrophied.

Families in Ward 2 deserve transparent, accessible, effective representation from someone with the local knowledge, energy, experience, and expertise to deliver. Given the chance, I promise to work hard every day to deliver so that this generation and those that come after can fall in love with Milton the way I did.
